Jake Weaver is UIW’s steady, power-capable spark in the outfield
In the 2026 season, Jake Weaver emerged as a versatile senior outfielder for Incarnate Word, with UIW noting he hit .279 with 25 RBI in 36 appearances and delivered several impact games, including a three-run homer vs. South Dakota State and a two-homer, four-RBI outburst at New Orleans.[6][9][2] The appeal is his blend of contact, gap power, and timely production—he doesn’t just stack stats, he shows up when the Cardinals need a momentum flip. That makes him the kind of experienced, energetic bat a team can trust in the middle of the lineup.
