Power arm with strikeout juice, now proving it at Marshall
Alex Caudill is a 6-foot-1, 220-pound junior RHP for Marshall who brings a power profile and real swing-and-miss upside, with coaches calling him a “great competitor” after he fully recovered from a high school arm injury. In his 2025 stint at Lake Erie, he posted an 11.5 K/9, 6.6 H/9, and allowed just four homers in 89.1 college innings, then flashed at Marshall in 2026 with a four-inning, four-strikeout hitless outing against West Virginia. The fit? If your staff wants a hard-nosed arm who can miss bats and handle leverage, Caudill is absolutely worth the look.
