steady Oregon State floor general with defense-first DNA
Josh Tarver’s Oregon State profile is built on reliability: in the 2007-08 season he played all 31 games, started 22, averaged 6.7 points, and led the Beavers with 75 assists and 37 steals, a strong sign of a guard who impacts winning beyond scoring. Oregon State described him as an excellent ball-handler, passer, and defender, and he was viewed as one of the top returning point guards in the Pac-10 entering 2008-09. If you want a poised, disruptive backcourt organizer who brings toughness and playmaking, he fits.
