Stony Brook F/C Samantha Norwood Brings Depth, Rebounding and Low-Mistake Minutes
Norwood’s Stony Brook profile shows a dependable frontcourt role player who appeared in 22 games and averaged 1.6 points and 2.1 rebounds per game, while also earning America East Honor Roll recognition. Her value is less about box-score volume and more about steady availability, size, and willingness to fill a supporting role in the paint—useful traits if a team wants a disciplined, low-drama interior contributor rather than a high-usage scorer.
