Iowa’s relentless all-around guard turned proven difference-maker
At Iowa, Kachine Alexander was a high-impact, do-everything guard whose value went well beyond scoring: she was a two-time All-America honorable mention and became the first Hawkeye—and only the fifth Big Ten player—to finish with 1,000 points, 800 rebounds, and 300 assists, a rare marker of elite versatility and physicality.[1][8] In 2010-11, she showed that edge in a monster season that included 40 points, 52 rebounds, 12 assists, and 10 steals across Iowa’s first 18 games.[5]
