Dre Dokes brings ball-hawking juice to UNI's secondary
Dre Dokes stands out as a true takeaway specialist for Northern Iowa: ESPN lists him with 3 interceptions, and his long-standing reputation as a disruptive defensive back is backed by his 2006 All-America honor and 11 career interceptions noted in team coverage[1][7][13]. At his best, he’s the kind of corner who changes drives with anticipation, toughness, and playmaking instincts rather than just coverage snaps[13]. If a roster wants a DB who can turn pressure into turnovers and bring a proven defensive edge, Dokes is very much worth your attention[1][13].
