B.J. Steed was a high-impact, high-IQ linebacker for UAB
B.J. Steed stood out as a physical, productive linebacker for UAB, with the program noting his strong résumé includes school and conference tackle records from his prep career and recognition as UAB’s Scholar-Athlete of the Week in 2008, which points to both on-field toughness and off-field discipline.[1][7] For a team, that profile suggests a dependable, hard-nosed defender who brings leadership, consistency, and football intelligence rather than just raw athleticism.[1][7]
