veteran Aggie linebacker with proven splash-play upside
Maika Magalei brings real linebacker grit: at Utah State, he recorded 22 career tackles, 3 sacks, and a forced fumble with a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown, while his early 2019 season also included a sack against Wisconsin and an injury-affected year that limited him to one game. A former 2-star outside linebacker recruit, he stands out more for instincts, toughness, and playmaking flashes than raw volume. If your defense wants a hard-nosed, experienced, low-frills linebacker who can create momentum-changing moments, he’s worth a close look.
