UTRGV infielder Thomas Williams brings size, right-handed power, and a résumé built on steady production
Thomas Williams is a 6-foot, 215-pound right-handed infielder for UTRGV, and the key appeal is his physical, sturdy profile that often translates well to the middle infield or corner infield roles. In 2026, his roster bio highlights a strong game against the Academy Barons, when he went 2-for-3 with an RBI, two walks, and two runs scored, suggesting an ability to contribute in multiple ways rather than just swing for contact[3]. He looks like a fit for teams valuing toughness, versatility, and a bat that can work counts and generate traffic on the bases[3][1].
