Experienced, efficient guard with shot-making pedigree
Stef Smith is a savvy 6-foot-1 guard who brings proven scoring touch, veteran poise, and a team-first mindset to St. John’s. In his 2020–21 season at Vermont, he averaged 13.6 points while starting all 14 games and serving as a co-captain, signaling both production and leadership. His value goes beyond box scores: he’s a steady decision-maker with guard skills, competitive toughness, and enough experience to help stabilize a rotation. For a team needing an older, reliable backcourt piece who can score without forcing the issue, he’s a strong fit.
