Caldwell Taylor brings disruptive edge and rare special-teams value for Weber State
Taylor is the kind of DE coaches love: a hard-nosed, high-motor defender who has produced 92 career tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, and a Weber State career-best five blocked kicks in 32 games, showing real impact beyond the box score. [2] That blocked-kick total is a major differentiator and suggests strong timing, effort, and awareness on special teams, while his steady production hints at a reliable rotational piece who can fit a defense that values toughness and versatility. [2] If your team wants energy, pressure, and hidden-yardage value, he’s worth a close look. [2]
