Chris Hewitt Jr. brings SEC-ready size, speed, and safety upside to Georgia Tech
In the 2026 season, Chris Hewitt Jr. is a freshman defensive back for Georgia Tech, not a Georgia Bulldogs offensive guard, and he arrives with a strong recruiting profile: ESPN rated him a four-star and the No. 17 athlete nationally after a senior year with 31 tackles, 3 interceptions, a pick-six, and 6 pass breakups. He stands out for versatility, physicality, and NFL bloodlines, with a ceiling that fits a defense looking for range plus hit power. If your team wants a young, twitchy playmaker with upside, he’s a name worth caring about.
