ETSU ace Jace Hyde brings strike-throwing stability and big-game swing-and-miss stuff
Jace Hyde has emerged as a dependable front-line starter for East Tennessee State, going 7-0 with a 3.72 ERA in 2025 after leading the staff in wins as a freshman in 2024 with 85 strikeouts and 7-3 record. His differentiators are durability and pitchability: he routinely works deep into games, has shown bat-missing ability, and delivered a complete-game shutout at Mercer in 2025. For a team seeking a poised, competitive right-hander who can steady a weekend rotation, Hyde looks like a strong fit.
