Penn State’s steady, walk-on edge with brains, hustle, and real team value
Jake Wilson is a Penn State defensive end whose value comes less from splashy production and more from reliability, intelligence, and grind-it-out effort; he appeared in games and logged limited defensive action, including 2 tackles in the 2022 season, before entering the transfer portal in January 2024. A Penn State electrical engineering graduate, he’s the kind of player coaches trust for details, special teams, and practice intensity, with the kind of disciplined, low-drama profile that can fit a depth chart built on accountability.
