Depth-linebacker experience with early-career production
Dayveon Higgs has shown usable rotational value at linebacker for Indiana State, finishing the 2021 season with 6 tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss, including a three-tackle outing against Eastern Illinois. The profile is modest, but that also suggests a player who can handle assignment football and contribute in a support role rather than force the action. He fits best as a depth or developmental piece for a team that values discipline, special-teams potential, and low-mistake consistency over splashy production.
