Damond Jackson brings proven SWAC playmaking and old-school toughness
Damond Jackson’s calling card is impact: in the 2014 season, he was an All-SWAC second-team safety who posted 80 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, one interception, five pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery, plus a safety among his splash plays. Prairie View A&M’s own bio and coach profile describe him as a versatile, experienced defensive back who flourished early and brought consistent run support and back-end reliability. If you want a safety who can tackle like a linebacker and still make turnovers happen, Jackson is the kind of tone-setter you notice fast.
