Tall, Athletic Safety Prospect with Power 5 Ambitions
Joseph Perkins, a 6-2, 198-pound safety from Torrance, CA, stands out with his imposing frame and versatility, having played at El Camino College after high school; while specific college stats at Arizona are sparse, his recruiting profile highlights elite size and speed for the position, making him a potential lockdown defender in pass coverage. Strengths include physicality and ball skills, with Hudl highlights showcasing big hits and interceptions—ideal for teams needing a rangy safety who fits modern hybrid defenses. A high-upside fit for squads prioritizing length and athleticism over immediate production.
