Xzavier Malone-Key brings veteran guard savvy and two-way toughness to Oregon State
Malone-Key is a seasoned 6-foot-4 guard who gives Oregon State a physical, experienced backcourt presence after stops at Fairleigh Dickinson and a senior-season role with the Beavers. His value is less about eye-popping volume and more about reliability: he has shown he can handle the ball, make plays, and defend with edge, and his earlier college production included 12.3 points per game in the 2019-20 season at FDU. If you want a steady, mature guard who can fit into a team-first system and bring grit, he makes sense; if you need a high-usage scoring engine, he is not that guy.
