Janelle McManus brings shot-making, poise, and guard leadership to Fairfield
McManus stands out as a scoring-minded guard whose game is built on perimeter efficiency, composure, and offensive versatility. In her earlier college run, she showed she could stretch defenses with three-point shooting and attack in high-pressure moments, including earning BIG EAST Rookie of the Week honors after averaging 17.0 points across two games and hitting 57.7% from deep in a seven-game stretch[3]. If Fairfield needs a confident backcourt creator who can score without forcing the issue and raise the team’s offensive ceiling, she is a strong fit.[3]
