Willie Green brings veteran linebacker grit to The Citadel
Willie Green is a physical, conference-tested linebacker who arrived at The Citadel with a strong prep résumé, including first-team all-conference and all-area honors and a senior year that helped his team finish 10-2 with an undefeated conference record. His edge is reliability: he was a high-production leader in high school and profiles as a tough, assignment-sound defender who fits a blue-collar system. That said, there isn’t enough current 2026 game-log data here to quantify his present season impact, so the best read is that he looks like a fit if you want a disciplined, high-motor LB who should compete hard every snap.
