Robbie Lofton brings veteran size and reliable hands to EIU’s passing game
Robbie Lofton is a seasoned Eastern Illinois wideout whose value goes beyond the box score: in the 2020 season he averaged 20.0 yards per catch with 180 receiving yards and a touchdown, and in the 2021 season he added 18 catches for 172 yards and two scores while working through missed time from injury. He profiles as a big-bodied, trusted target at 6-foot-3, 185 pounds, with clear downfield/contested-catch utility and a track record of being productive when available. If your team wants experience, length, and a receiver who can stay useful in multiple roles, Lofton is worth a hard look.
