Massive North Texas tackle with untapped upside
Layton Firestone is a 6-7, 335-pound offensive lineman at North Texas who preserved his redshirt in 2024 by not seeing game action, so his college résumé is still mostly projection-driven. The appeal is obvious: rare size, tackle-frame length, and a Texas prep background that included all-district honorable mention at Argyle HS and a district title run in 2023. He looks like a developmental OL with real power potential, and if he adds polish and consistency, he could become a useful swing piece or starter-caliber body for a team that values big, physical trench prospects.
