Tim Williams Jr. brings experienced interior line depth and disruptive flashes to MVSU
Tim Williams Jr. is a seasoned defensive lineman for Mississippi Valley State whose value is tied to experience, gap discipline, and occasional backfield disruption rather than eye-popping production; in the 2023 season, he appeared in 7 games with 3 solo tackles and 0.5 sacks, and MVSU noted he had seen action in 9 games the prior season before signing with the AFL’s Iowa Rampage in 2024, suggesting a player with enough motor and versatility to keep earning opportunities. He profiles as a rotational fit for teams needing toughness, maturity, and a low-drama trench worker more than a stat-sheet headliner.[1][2]
