Experienced ECU DB with a long-tested Pirate pedigree
Drew Turnage is a familiar East Carolina defensive back name who brings program knowledge, size, and veteran depth to the Pirates; ECU’s roster has listed him as a Greenville, N.C. native and DB at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, which suggests a sturdy, physical profile for the secondary[1][2]. His biggest differentiator is continuity—he already knows the culture and expectations in Greenville, and that kind of steady, know-your-role presence can be gold in a defensive back room. For a team, he looks like a fit if you want reliability, maturity, and a player who won’t blink under the lights[1][2].
