Chris Wrighten brings active downhill linebacker production for Texas Wesleyan
In the 2025 season, Chris Wrighten showed real playmaking juice for Texas Wesleyan, appearing in six games and posting 25 total tackles, including 12 solo stops, plus a sack and a tackle for loss against William Penn. He’s a lean, mobile linebacker at 6-foot-0 and 180 pounds who flashes instinctive run support and a knack for finishing plays, with a season-best eight tackles against Nelson (Texas). For a team, that profile screams reliable effort, physicality, and room to grow into a bigger role; for a roster spot, he looks like a developmental defender with disruptive upside.
