Shane Ryan brings veteran toughness and special-teams pop for Lehigh
Shane Ryan is a senior linebacker/outside linebacker for Lehigh in the 2026 season, listed at 5-10, 200 pounds, and his value goes beyond raw tackle totals[1][2]. In the 2025 season, he appeared in all 13 games, made 18 tackles, and delivered a blocked punt that helped spark a go-ahead touchdown against Lafayette—classic glue-guy stuff with real game-changing flashes[2]. He also showed durability and versatility as a multi-role defender and special-teams contributor, which makes him a strong fit for a team that wants effort, instincts, and trustworthiness over empty hype[2].
