Kent State QB Adam Frederick is in the thick of a wide-open battle
Adam Frederick is listed on Kent State’s 2026 roster as a redshirt freshman quarterback, which usually means development is still very much the name of the game. The biggest takeaway right now is opportunity: Kent State’s quarterback room has been described as wide open, so Frederick’s value is less about a stat line and more about upside, competition, and how quickly he can separate himself in camp. If he brings poise, command, and steady growth, he could be a fit worth betting on.
