Rey Estes brings veteran, ball-hawking DB value to Grambling
Rey Estes is a seasoned Grambling State defensive back whose game has been built on production and disruption: across his three seasons with the Tigers, he was credited with 75 tackles, 2 interceptions, 16 passes defended, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 tackle for loss in 2023 draft coverage. He also showed impact-play ability with a blocked field goal in a 2022 win, and was described as an aggressive, under-six-foot DB who is not afraid to attack the ball or tackle. That mix makes him attractive for teams needing a physical, instinctive secondary piece rather than just a stat-line guy.
