Big-bodied righty with flashes of shutdown relief stuff for UAB
Brooks House is a 6-5, 220-pound right-hander for UAB who has shown real late-inning upside, including a 2026 season line of 12 appearances and a return to the Blazers’ bullpen mix after multiple seasons in the program. His calling card is the frame: he looks like a power pitcher, and UAB’s own notes show he has repeatedly worked scoreless outings and logged strikeout ability in short stints. The fit is clear for a staff that wants size, mound presence, and a arm with room to keep growing rather than a finished product.
