Southern’s Floor General with Playmaking Touch
Hyder profiles as a steady, pass-first guard for Southern University, with ESPN listing him at 5.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 44.7% shooting, plus Southern noting he led the Jaguars in assists, steals and minutes in the 2015-16 season. He stands out more for organization, defensive activity and control than pure scoring, which makes him a useful fit for teams that want a reliable connector who can keep an offense moving and pressure the ball. The main question is upside as a creator, not whether he impacts winning.
