Akron Zips' Puerto Rican Playmaker with Elite Vision and Shooting Touch
Alex Abreu, a versatile guard for the Akron Zips, dazzled in the 2011-12 season with All-MAC Second Team honors, ranking top-10 nationally in assists (4.8 apg, 71st) and steals (1.8 spg, 72nd), plus a stellar 43.0% from three; his two 100-assist seasons at Akron highlight exceptional court vision and feel for the game. Later at West Georgia in 2014-15, he erupted for 45 points over two games. Internationally battle-tested from Puerto Rico's U-19 squad, Abreu's high-IQ passing, sharpshooting, and defensive tenacity make him a perfect fit for teams needing a dynamic, low-turnover floor general who elevates teammates.
