Lucia Becerra Perez brings veteran guard savvy and steady two-way poise for Iona
Lucia Becerra Perez is a seasoned Iona guard whose game has long been built on versatility, ball movement, and efficient, low-drama minutes rather than headline-chasing volume. In her earlier Iona seasons, she showed playmaking touch and dependable shooting stretches, including 2.4 points and 2.2 assists per game in the 2020-21 season, then 2.3 points and 2.1 assists per game in 2021-22, while earning MAAC academic recognition[1]. She’s the kind of connector coach staffs trust: experienced, disciplined, and comfortable doing the little things that make a roster tick[1][2].
