Damian Reed gives Nicholls a proven tackling presence with a linebacker’s nose for the ball
Damian Reed is a disciplined, physical linebacker for Nicholls who stands out for production, instincts, and toughness—he was listed by ESPN as a Nicholls linebacker, and earlier in his career at Blinn he logged 105 tackles in 2006 after 85 in 2005, including defensive MVP honors on a 12-0 national championship team. He projects as the kind of defender who fits well with teams that value reliability, pursuit speed, and a hard-nosed, no-frills tone in the middle of the defense.
