Iowa Hawkeyes DB Turned NFL Journeyman CB
Greg Mabin, a 6-2, 200-lb Iowa Hawkeyes cornerback from 2012-17, showcased college grit with 19 solo tackles, 18 assists, 3 PBUs, and a forced fumble in his final seasons, starting key wins like a 45-21 thriller over Miami[3]. Now a seasoned NFL vet with 6 years experience across 49ers, Bengals, Jaguars, Titans, and Panthers—logging 32 games—his length, physicality, and special teams reliability make him a dependable depth piece for teams needing versatile DBs without starter drama[1][2][5]. Battle-tested tenacity screams 'plug-and-play pro' fit.
