Cook brings size, accuracy, and a winner’s résumé to Iowa State
Ashton Cook is a 6-foot-3, 215-pound Iowa State quarterback whose high-school track record and efficiency stand out: in his senior season at Regina, he threw for 2,286 yards with 22 touchdowns and only three interceptions, and he finished his prep career with more than 6,500 passing yards. He also showed polish in limited college action, going 4-for-4 for 32 yards in a 2022 win over Ohio. The appeal here is steady command, good decision-making, and a proven history of leading winning teams rather than just chasing highlight throws.
