Troy Sudbrook is Toledo’s captain, table-setter, and power bat rolled into one
In the 2026 season, Troy Sudbrook emerged as a do-it-all force for Toledo, leading the Rockets in hits, doubles, home runs, and slugging while being named First Team All-MAC, an Academic All-America, and a team captain[9][12]. He’s a high-motor infielder with middle-of-the-order damage, plus the kind of consistency and leadership coaches love: he started 61 games in 2025, then backed it up with a .366/.459/.689 line, 11 homers, 71 RBIs, and a school-record 32 doubles in 2026[6][4][12].
