Cole Howarth is crushing it for CBU: high-contact bat with extra-base pop and timely RBI punch
In the 2026 season, Cole Howarth has been a major run-producing spark for California Baptist, hitting .377 with a .933 OPS, 52 hits, 34 RBI, and 3 home runs while also showing a little sneakily valuable speed with 4 stolen bases. He fits the profile of a tough out who can hit for average, drive the ball gap-to-gap, and deliver in big spots, including multi-RBI games against strong opponents. The differentiator here is his consistency: the box-score damage is real, but so is the feel for clutch contact and lineup stability.
