Ryan Puskas brings veteran inside-linebacker toughness to Cal
A former Liberty High School standout with a strong defensive résumé and multi-year Cal experience, Ryan Puskas profiles as a physical, instinctive linebacker who has shown he can make plays in space and finish tackles. Cal listed him at 6-foot-3 and 235 pounds on its 2022 roster, and his high-school production included 251 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, 11 quarterback hurries and 11 interceptions, pointing to versatility and ball skills uncommon for the position. He looks like a fit for teams that value size, range and special-teams-ready toughness.
