Shaun Taylor is a high-IQ, backup-ready Oklahoma State QB with a proven feel for the offense
In the 2026 Oklahoma State roster listing, Shaun Taylor is a redshirt sophomore quarterback at 5-11, 210 pounds, and the profile that jumps out is reliability: he has limited game exposure but was efficient in his 2019 action, completing 4 of 4 passes for 21 yards[1][2]. His background as a walk-on and former captain/MVP in high school suggests toughness, leadership, and a steady temperament more than flash[1]. He looks like the kind of quarterback a staff trusts to know the playbook, protect the ball, and keep the train on the tracks—valuable traits if depth and composure matter for your room[1][2].
