Dual-Threat WR with Elite Track Speed and JUCO Pedigree
Woodyard is a 5'11", 180-lb wide receiver bringing rare athleticism to Marshall. The Maryland native earned 4-star JUCO honors as the No. 2 junior college WR in the country (247Sports, 2018) before committing to Nebraska. He combines legitimate receiving chops—36 catches, 522 yards, 6 TDs in 2017 at Arizona Western—with track-and-field caliber speed (10.47 in the 100m, 2019). His versatility on kickoff returns (304 yards in 2017) adds value. Limited recent production at Marshall (5 rec, 61 yards, 1 TD) suggests he's still finding his rhythm, but his foundational skill set and proven ability to produce at the JUCO level make him an intriguing developmental prospect for programs seeking high-ceiling receiving talent.
