Southern Miss QB with NFL Pedigree, But 2026 College Stats Unavailable
Austin Davis is a former Southern Miss Golden Eagles quarterback whose primary differentiator is his proven NFL experience (2014–2019) with the Rams, Browns, and 49ers, where he posted a 6-4 record as a starter and a 6.3 yards-per-attempt average[1]. However, as of July 2026, there is no verified data confirming he is currently active as a college player for Southern Miss; his most recent known status is as a retired NFL quarterback. Consequently, his current college performance, strengths, and rankings cannot be assessed, and he is not a viable fit for a current college team roster. If you are looking for a current Southern Miss QB, you may be referencing a different player or outdated information, as Davis's college career at Southern Miss concluded years before his NFL tenure.
