Ron Smith brings veteran-ballhawk energy to SDSU’s secondary
Ron Smith has been a steady, experienced presence at San Diego State, with ESPN listing him as a cornerback and SDSU notes highlighting his long starting streak and big-play résumé, including a 54-yard interception return for a touchdown and 16 pass breakups in one season. He stands out for anticipation, confidence in coverage, and special-teams value, plus the kind of competitive edge coaches love because he’s been through it all and still plays like every snap matters. If your team wants a tough, battle-tested CB with proven playmaking instincts, Smith fits the bill.
