Trey Chaney brings local-rb grit to UAB’s backfield
Trey Chaney is a Birmingham-area UAB running back whose value comes from being a compact, hard-nosed runner in a crowded backfield, with enough production on the roster to suggest he can contribute when given touches[4][8]. The main reason to care is fit: if you want a dependable, low-drama depth piece who can handle work inside and keep the offense on schedule, Chaney looks like the kind of player who can earn trust through consistency rather than flash[4].
