steady veteran presence with special-teams grit for Portland State
In the 2010 season, Kevin Takeno was a senior linebacker for Portland State who also had a visible role on special teams, including a 5-tackle outing against Oregon that showed his willingness to show up in bigger moments. He entered PSU as a late transfer from Lewis & Clark, where he earned second-team All-Northwest Conference honors at linebacker, which points to a player with real instincts and toughness. If you want a dependable, physical defender who brings experience, effort, and no-drama reliability, he fits the profile.
