Courtney Boynton West: Lipscomb’s two-way spark who helped build the winning standard
Courtney Boynton West was a do-it-all guard for Lipscomb, finishing her Division I career with 1,478 points, 278 steals, 537 rebounds, and 232 assists while helping lead the program to 62 wins and its first Atlantic Sun titles and NCAA Tournament berth in the 2003-04 season. She stood out for her balance: scoring, disruption on defense, and steady playmaking. The big takeaway? She wasn’t just productive — she was a tone-setter, the kind of guard who brings edge, experience, and winning DNA to a roster.
