Legacy Hawkeye Recruit Turning Heads as Versatile 2026 DB/WR
Isaiah Oliver, a 6-0, 195-pound athlete from Waukee, IA, committed as a preferred walk-on to Iowa in June 2025, bringing multi-sport prowess as a speedy, skilled defensive back and wide receiver—son of ex-Hawkeye basketball star Dean Oliver. His basketball highlights showcase elite athleticism and guard-like quickness, translating to football differentiators like ball skills, tackling intensity, and positional versatility that make him a gritty, high-motor fit for Iowa's physical secondary. Watch for breakout potential in camp; ideal for teams valuing culture, legacy, and raw upside over rankings.
