Two-way, stat-stuffing guard who set the tone at Kent State
Alexa Golden’s final Kent State season showed why she mattered: in 2018-19 she started all 33 games, averaged 7.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 2.5 assists, and earned MAC All-Defensive Team honors[1]. She was more than a box-score guard — Kent State says she finished her career as the only player in program history to reach 500 points, 500 rebounds, 200 assists and 200 steals, a strong marker of versatility, competitiveness and impact on both ends[2].
