Darnell Dailey Jr. brings veteran anchor energy to Texas State’s front
Darnell Dailey Jr. is a veteran Texas State nose tackle whose value comes from experience, toughness, and steady work in the middle rather than eye-popping splash plays. In the 2015 season, he logged 10 tackles in six games as a reserve linebacker and special-teams contributor, and Texas State also recognized him for academic achievement and Sun Belt honor-roll work—good signs of reliability and discipline. He looks like a fit for teams needing a physical, assignment-sound interior presence who can help stabilize a defense and set the tone up front.
