a bruising, efficient frontcourt piece with proven Raider roots
Ja'Monica Orton is a 6-foot-1 forward whose Wright State profile shows a blue-collar interior game: in the 2013-14 season, she appeared in 25 games, shot .464 from the field, and hit .765 at the line, with a steady rebound rate for a reserve big. Her value is less about flash and more about reliability, toughness, and fitting into a team-first system that needs physicality around the rim. The main question for modern-fit evaluation is age and recency, since the available data points are from her Wright State era rather than a current playing season.
