seasoned middle-tenor linebacker who earns his keep with production and toughness
Luckett’s value profile is built on steady, physical linebacker play: in the 2015 season at Middle Tennessee, he started all 13 games, posted 72 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble, and was voted Honorable Mention All-C-USA[1]. Listed at 6-0 and 241-245 pounds, he fits the classic downhill, contact-first mold and was noted as the team’s most improved linebacker after spring drills[1][2]. For a roster needing reliability, run support and a player who shows up around the ball, he’s the kind of old-school blue-collar piece coaches tend to love[1][2].
